Our Primary School Map Now Shows Beyond 2 km
We’ve added a purple band beyond 2 km to our primary school maps for the 12 schools in the new Phase 2C scheme. You can see all 12 together below.
Live 5 km from Nanyang? Or 50 km? From the 2027 registration exercise (for P1 entry in 2028), an eligible Singapore Citizen child at either address will have the same distance priority in its beyond-2-km track.
At schools where Phase 2C places used to fill up with children living nearby, families farther away now have a share of places to ballot for. Under MOE’s new rules, half the Phase 2C places at each of these 12 schools initially go to the beyond-2-km track. Our framework changes article covers the details.
Even if you live in Pulau Ubin, you now stand a chance in Nanyang Primary. 🐳
What the colours mean
- Red: within 1 km of the school boundary.
- Blue: within 2 km, including the red area.
- Purple: beyond 2 km.
The bands follow the campus boundary. You’ll also find them under Location & distance on each school’s page.
The 12 schools
These include familiar names such as ACS, Nanyang and Tao Nan. 3 are SAP (Special Assistance Plan) schools and 8 have secondary affiliations listed by MOE SchoolFinder. Nanyang is in both groups, so that’s 10 of the 12. There are also 2 boys’ schools and 5 girls’ schools.
These are pretty elite schools.
