JC COP 2026: which JCs got tougher (and easier)

03 February 2026

We’ve updated our JC COP 2026 list (based on the 2025 O-Level results for 2026 JAE).

JC COPs are usually quite “sticky”, so even a 1-point move is a big deal.

  • Lower COP = tougher / more competitive
  • Higher COP = easier / less competitive
  • Δ below is 2026 − 2025

JCs that got tougher (COP decreased)

  School Stream 2025 2026 Δ
1 Hwa Chong Institution (JC) Science/IB 4 3 -1
2 Dunman High (JC) Science/IB 7 6 -1
3 National JC Science/IB 7 6 -1
4 Anglo-Chinese JC Science/IB 8 7 -1
5 St. Andrew’s JC Science/IB 9 8 -1
6 Anderson Serangoon JC Science/IB 10 9 -1
7 Catholic JC Science/IB 12 11 -1
8 Temasek JC Arts 8 7 -1
9 Anderson Serangoon JC Arts 11 10 -1
10 Catholic JC Arts 13 12 -1
11 Tampines Meridian JC Arts 13 12 -1
12 Jurong Pioneer JC Arts 15 14 -1

JCs that got easier (COP increased)

  School Stream 2025 2026 Δ
1 Millennia Institute Science/IB 17 20 +3
2 Yishun Innova JC Arts 19 20 +1
3 Millennia Institute Arts 19 20 +1
4 Millennia Institute Commerce 19 20 +1

Ranking changes (vs 2025)

Based on the ranking shown on our COP pages (ties shown as joint ranks), the big reshuffle is in the middle. Dunman High and National JC move from joint #8 to joint #6, and Victoria JC also edges up from #7 into the same joint-#6 cluster.

Because those three share joint #6, the next rank starts at #9, which is why St. Joseph’s Institution (JC) shows up as #9 this year (down from #6).

Up at the top, Hwa Chong moves from #2 to joint #1 (now tied with RI). Within the “5-point” group, Eunoia and Nanyang each move up one spot while ACSI shifts from #3 to #5. Temasek JC slips from joint #8 to #10.

And right at the bottom, Yishun Innova and Millennia Institute swap places (YIJC #19 → #18, MI #18 → #19).
